Student housing, with real people behind it.
LPS Properties is a family-owned, owner-operated student housing business based in Kingston, Ontario. Since 2022, we’ve focused on creating a more personal rental experience for students living near Queen’s University.
We own and operate our houses ourselves. There is no call centre and no regional office between our tenants and the people responsible for their home. When someone reaches out with a problem, it reaches the owner directly.
Our approach is deliberately different from the large-property-company model — a softer touch, real people and direct communication.

We don’t think of student housing as simply renting bedrooms. The house is an important part of the university experience — where you live, spend time with friends and make memories throughout the year.
Students paying premium rent should feel that they are receiving premium service in return. That belief shapes how we manage our homes and how we look after the people living in them.

Students are usually the ones searching for their next house, comparing options and imagining the year ahead.
Parents are an important part of that decision too. They co-sign leases and want to know that the landlord is reliable. LPS is designed to give both audiences the same thing: a student-focused home backed by direct, responsible ownership.
